Electronic sports is just one of my hobbies. I deal more intensively and comprehensively with the humanities, especially philosophy and religion, but also with politics and economics. Based on this, different books have been created over several years, including one under a pseudonym.
Two of these books have achieved bestseller status. Both deal with theological questions, ideas and views.
My e-sports books can be found under the "Writing" link above.
Thoughts of a Restless is a book that deals with a variety of topics that are relevant to society. Philosophy, theology, economics, politics and many other areas are included in this book. Well-known theories are presented, but new developments have also found their way into the book.
De-worldliness, religion, philosophy and cognition.
For as long as I can remember I have been interested in religious topics. There was always this connection. This "bridge" somewhere else. It's hard to understand for someone who doesn't know it. I never had a clear religious imprint or anything like that. Still, I knew and felt a connection to God that must have been there before I was born. This is also one of the reasons why money, material things, status, attitudes or "worldly" things in general have never been important to me.
After many years of dealing with theological and philosophical topics, Timo Schöber describes his personal path in his last book, which he wrote alone. The book shows how we can free ourselves from materialism, worldly greed for success and the opinions of other people in order to find more serenity.
Specifically, Timo Schöber also had to involuntarily prove his attitude in a kind of "trial by fire" when his most important online accounts were hacked within a very short time and a large part of his belongings was destroyed due to massive water damage as a result of heavy rain.
He was very successful himself in several of his hobbies, including being a world champion, but makes it clear in this book that such things are not important and that he has a different attitude now. Timo Schöber discusses all of this and above all his findings in this book.
Applicant tracking systems are playing an ever-increasing role in recruitment in today's digital age. The convenient and often automated archiving of applicant data and application documents is not only a work simplification for many companies, but an indispensable tool in day-to-day business. On the one hand, this is due to the high volume of applications from many large corporations, but on the other hand, it is also due to the fact that companies can filter specifically according to their indicators for the search for suitable personnel. The market for applicant management systems is now very extensive, not least because, for example, sales software can also be used as an applicant management system. Which applicant management system is suitable for which company can not only be determined on the basis of cost-benefit comparisons or the performance of the system, but it also depends significantly on the individual needs of the respective company.
A little book with lyrical works by a busy thinker.
The poems are complex in content and take the reader on short journeys of reflection and pause.
It contains poems on different themes such as childhood, faith, peace and impermanence. All works have one thing in common: they invite you to think games. They want to be interpreted.
A small book with great content.
From the Foreword: This book contains blog entries that I have published in the past. I don't share the full content of all these entries, but I still think they are worthy of publication and interesting from a conceptual point of view, which is why I wrote them. I always take the perspective of an advocate of the respective idea. They may intentionally contain errors, paradoxes, and other things to stimulate thought processes.
For almost two thousand years, the Bible has been an anchor of faith, a source of inspiration and hope for countless generations - all over the world. It is the most printed book in the world and has been translated into more languages than any other work. According to the current status, almost 2.3 billion people belong to Christianity, making it the largest religion on earth. This book quotes relevant Bible passages and contrasts them with conflicting conditions in the world. It is logically a matter of comparing the target state (Bible) with the actual state (worldly present) from a Christian perspective. The book does not moralize, it does not interpret, it does not relativize and it does not dogmatize. Only paradoxical facts are compared with each other. It is left to the reader to draw their own conclusions.
All of my book publications can be found in the German National Library (DNB), both in print and digital form.
